Arthur Hamilton, MA
Arthur began a PhD in Cognitive Science at Carleton University in 2021. He is studying the intersection between schizophrenia and bilingualism under the supervision of Dr. Olessia Jouravlev (Carleton) and Dr. Synthia Guimond (CRANIlab). More generally, he is passionate about mental health and understanding how cognitive factors contribute to it. Arthur earned a Bachelor of Arts at McGill University and a Master of Arts at the University of Ottawa, both in international development. He successfully defended a master's thesis on disability policy in India, particularly as it relates to intellectual disability. He then changed disciplines and completed a post-baccalaureate degree in cognitive science at Carleton, for which he researched schizophrenia and electroencephalography. In his spare time, Arthur enjoys cycling, writing music, and playing the piano.
