Jessica Drodge
Jessica is a Graduate student in the Cognitive Remediation and NeuroImaging lab. As of June 2019, she completed a Bachelor of Science Honours in Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University, with minors in Psychology and Biology. Under the supervision of Dr. Kim Hellemans (Carleton Neuroscience Department Chair), Jessica completed her undergraduate honours thesis in which she questioned the potential neural consequences of excessive electronic and social media use in the youth population. In September 2019, Jessica began her Masters in Neuroscience at the University of Ottawa to investigate the relationship between neuroplasticity, cognition and cortical structure as it relates to individual difference. Outside of research, Jessica is the ultimate foodie. She is also passionate about working with children and animals. If she isn’t in the lab, you may find her reading, cooking or walking in nature with her dog.
