VR Phase 2: Cognitive Remediation Program in Virtual Reality
We are interested in investigating cognitive performance using a virtual reality program in individuals living with a psychotic disorder or schizophrenia. This innovative study aims to combine virtual reality and cognitive remediation to improve thinking skills and functioning the populations.
Over a period of 6 weeks, participants will have the opportunity to participate in two training sessions per week; This includes engaging in different video game-like modules to receive cognitive remediation therapy through virtual reality.
Following each visit, participants will receive feedback and coaching on thinking and functioning skills that are transferrable to daily life.
Participants can receive a total of $190 financial compensation for their time:
· $30 for the Baseline Assessment Visit
· $30 Post-Intervention Assessment Visit (1)
· $30 Post-Intervention Assessment Visit (2)
· $5 for each training session
· $20 for completing 3 surveys through EMA app
